He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Ulaszek, (Grajkowski) and Joseph J. Ulaszek, Sr.; his brother Ronald Ulaszek; and his grandson Nicholas Ulaszek. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Karen Ivas (Stanley), Susan Haupt (William), Michael Ulaszek (Gina) and James Ulaszek (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jeffrey (Erin), Kristina, Daniel Ivas, William J., Jacob, Nathan Haupt (Sicily), Douglas (Beth), Patrick (Miranda), Natalie Ulaszek, Madeline and Grace Ulaszek; and his siblings, Thomas (Nita), John (Ginny), Robert Ulaszek (Lily) and Joan Coster (Peter). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A prayer was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (600 Brook Forest Ave, Shorewood, IL 60404).
