He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Essenburg and Grace Essenburg; and his brother Ben W. Essenburg (Jill). He is survived by: his siblings, Jack Essenburg (Christine), Mary Vander Schaaf (Bruce) and Cindy Lacey (Kevin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
