He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Jerome and Jewel Maxine Jenkins (McComas). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Belli Jenkins of Naperville; his sons, David Jenkins (Chaslin) of Royal Oak, MI and Kyle Jenkins of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Emory Harmon, Alana and Bastian Jenkins of Royal Oak; and his sisters, Linda Clagg (Tim) of Milton, GA, Pamela Diaz (Julio) of Tulsa, OK and Paula Cook (Steve) of Huntington, WV. He is also survived by seven aunts and uncles, a large number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Marshall University Foundation, Inc., Huntington, WV.
