She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Velazquez and Clementina Velazquez (Arteaga); and her siblings, Beatriz Garcia, Arturo Velazquez and Salvador Velazquez.
She is survived by: her husband Miguel Reyes; her children, Miguel A. Reyes of Waterford, MI, Ruben Reyes of Illinois City, Clementina Reyes (Victor) of Dixon and Patricia Magana (Carlos) of Naperville, IL; and her sister Maria Bonnell of Sterling. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schilling Funeral Home (702 1st Ave, Sterling, IL 61081). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at the St. Mary's Church (600 Avenue B, Sterling, IL 61081).
