She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Eileen Rattin (Dean), Catherine Trompeter (Joseph), Heather Hughes (Erik Hoevenaars), Patrick Hughes (Kelley) and Colleen Dawdy (late Michael); her grandchildren, Gavin, Patrick III, Brendan, Aidan, Maeve, Kevin, Annie, Mickey, Jack, Rian and Sean; her siblings, Thomas Nicholas (Belinda), William Nicholas and John Nicholas (Mona); and her parents, William Nicholas and Helen Nicholas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (2220 Lisson Rd, Naperville, IL 60565). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
