We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2025, at the age of 94, Nancy I. Coonce of Naperville, Illinois, born in East Orange, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Nancy's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Nancy's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Irvine and Victoria Irvine; and her brother Paul Irvine. She is survived by: her husband Homer E. Coonce; her children, David Coonce (Judy) of Zeeland, MI, Douglas Coonce (Paula) of Columbia, SC and Ellen Lenert (Nick) of Naperville; and her sister-in-law Ethel Lindsey (late Dale) of Chestnutridge, MO.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home (44 S Mill St, Naperville, IL 60540). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
