Patrick leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Patrick’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. McDowell and Alice McDowell; and his sister Kathleen Kavanaugh (Ed). He is survived by: his wife Brenda McDowell (Krone); his children, Emmett and Laura; and his siblings, Laurie Erdmann (Art), Beth Jedlicka (Thomas), Cindy Abrahamson (James), Peter McDowell and Paul McDowell (Rosie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted in Patrick's name to any animal rescue or cancer-fighting organization.
