He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie "Joyce" Rampson; his son Paul Rampson (Mary); his parents, Rudolph Rampson and Ann Rampson; his sisters, Bernardine Peck (late Lloyd) and Mildred Rampson; his parents-in-law, Edward and Catherine Clohesey; and his sibling-in-law Jean Clohesey (late Lorraine).
He is survived by: his children, Jim Rampson (Kathy) of Naperville, IL, Edward Rampson of Chicago, Cathie Bauer (Steve) of Littleton, CO, Mary Beth Hess (Jim) of Naperville and Patrick Rampson of Chicago; his grandchildren, Peter Rampson (Carli), Matthew Rampson (Sam), Ashley Smallwood (Joseph), Nicholas Rampson, Eric Rampson (Teresa Tambolas), Kelly Ellis (Brian), Brandon Bauer (Dana), Jordan Bauer (LeighAnn), Katie Billinger (Charles), James Hess, Jr. (Sonya), Joseph Hess (Lisa), Daniel Hess (Kelsey) and Anna Hess (Will Van); and his sibling Marcelette Rampson.
