He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Carlsen and Thelma Carlsen (Berg). He is survived by: his wife Freda "Blaze" (Foland); his children, Joel Carlsen (Lina) of Naperville, IL, Kay Lynn Haas (Tedd) of Willcox, AZ and Kristi McConnell (Christopher) of Harrisburg, PA; his granddaughter Greta Haas Schmidt (Marcus); his children, Haili Mcconnell Cochran (Isaiah), Tyler McConnell, Anna Mae Haas, Lukas and David Carlsen; and his brother Dennis Carlsen (Judy) of Lawrence, KS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Presbyterian Church (903 E Nerge Rd, Roselle, IL 60172). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at the Wheaton Cemetery (1209 Warrenville Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189).
