He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blackwell and Mildred Blackwell; his brother William, Jr. Blackwell (Brenda); and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Rogers (late Freddie) and Mildred Manning (late Lawrence).
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Blackwell; his children, Rodney Blackwell (Corey) of River Forest, IL and Ryan Blackwell (Keito) of Syracuse, NY; his grandchildren, Jackson and Easton; his brother James Blackwell (Beverly) of Fishers, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Andry (late Bettye) of Chastang, AL and Fannie Murray (late Joseph) of Washington, DC.
Current health guidelines state that no more than 50 individuals at a time may pay their respects to the family, and guests are required to wear masks and follow social distancing procedures. Interment will be private.
