He was predeceased by: his wife Colleen Homan; his parents, August and Anna; and his sisters, Elverna DuBois (Donald), Lorraine DuRose (Stanley), Geraldine Finder (Lester), Barbara Abendroth (John), Evelyn and Esther Homan.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Buwick (David), Robert Homan and Erik Homan (Shane); his grandchildren, Thomas Buwick and Sarah Buwick; and his siblings, Jane DuBois (late James) and Robert Homan (Ruth). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
