He is survived by: his wife Toni Gartner (Egizio); his son James Gartner; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Egizio, Mike Egizio (Denise), Jaime Egizio, Jim Egizio, Rocco Egizio (Debbie) and Mary Cathryn O'Malley (Kevin); and his brothers, Gerhard Gartner (Sue) and Helmut Gartner (Susan).
