It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam J. Serio of Naperville, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Serio and Rose Serio; and his siblings, Josephine Marks and Frank Serio (late Marie). He is survived by: his wife Arlene Serio; his children, John Serio (Cindy) of Wheaton, IL, Matthew Serio (Alexis) of Naperville and Noelle Williams (David) of Naperville; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Austin, Brandon Serio, Ava, Logan Serio, Luke and Brynn Williams; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Dickinson (Teri) and Cheryl Knorr (Steve).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home (44 S Mill St, Naperville, IL 60540). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (1450 Green Trails Dr, Naperville, IL 60540).
