He was predeceased by: his grandson Christopher Malik; his parents, Anna Vitale and Angelo Vitale; and his sisters, Vita and Amelia "Millie" Cona.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Vitale; his children, John Vitale, Lisa Graveline (Brad), Beth Malik (Paul), Michele Drews (Kevin) and Brian Vitale (Cary); his stepdaughter Patricia DiGiovanni (Charles); his grandchildren, Michael Walcott, Amanda Curran (Tim), Alexis Vitale (CC), David Graveline (Amanda), Alyssa Shoop (Calvin), Gavin Drews, Hailey Drews, Brynn Drews, Matthew Malik, Lily Vitale, Sarah Malik, Isabel Vitale, Sophia Vitale and Evangeline Vitale; his great grandchild Hazel Margaret Curran; his siblings, Kay Cotton (Fred) and Sacco; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bresnahan (late Bill) and Joan Willix (Dick). He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
