She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hamman and Kathryn Hamman (Johnson); her sister Janice Kay Bruns of Brimfield, IL; and her nephew Daniel Hamman of Carthage, IL.. She is survived by: her husband Mark Bernhard. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
