He was predeceased by: his father Kent Shannon; and his stepfather Paul Lueck. He is survived by: his mother Janet Shannon (Murfield); his children, McKenzie, Kylee and Sean Shannon; his siblings, Kelly Shannon, Aubrey Lueck, Lisa Shannon, Bradford Shannon and Ryan Shannon; his partner's daughter Gabriella; his stepmother Patti Shannon; and his nieces and nephews, Felicity, Aiden, Jaxson, Reilly, Sam, Lily and Shea.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
