She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Mychelle; her pet Izzy; her sister Kelly Cody (Fitzgerald); her parents, John Fitzgerald and Marianne Fitzgerald; her siblings, John Fitzgerald III and Heather Fitzgerald; her husband Kevin Peterson; and her pets, Daisy, Candy, Toffee and Sanctuary.

The pandemic took an even harder toll on her, both physically and emotionally.
