Shirley Mae Carpenter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Carpenter of Naperville, Illinois, born in Grant Park, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Shirley Mae may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

After Fred's passing and during the COVID lockdown, she moved to Rochelle, IL to live with her son Tim, whose wife Deb became her primary caregiver.
