With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Takako Denton of Naperville, Illinois, who passed away on May 26, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James A. "Jim" Denton; her parents, Hisaji Ishijima and Nao Ishijima; and her sibling Akihisa Ishijima. She is survived by: her sons, Robert A. "Bob" Denton (Laura) of Warrenville, IL and Perry K. Denton of Bolingbrook, IL; her grandchildren, Jillian (Patrick), Derek A., Annika J., Rosalyn M., Mollene K. and Lucas A.; her great grandchildren, Kira Isabel Ryan and Flynn Leo Ryan; and her siblings, Kayoko Kobayashi, Kazuko Sloan and Kunihiro Ishijima.
