We bid farewell to Toni Baumgartner of Naperville, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 27, 2025 at the age of 94. Toni touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Ostermeier and Angela Ostermeier; her husband Ronald Baumgartner; her grandson Mark Baumgartner; and her siblings, Donald Ostermeier and Jeanette Lehner.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Baumgartner (Cathy), Roxy Baumgartner (Steven Tench), Steve Baumgartner (Sue), Brad Baumgartner (Jeri), Donna Schaffer (Harland), Diane Cook (Greg), John Baumgartner (Monica), Susan Hansen (Will), Rich Baumgartner (Jen) and Patti Baumgartner (Tim Gallagher); and her grandchildren, Matt Baumgartner (Katy), Mike Baumgartner (Allie), Scott Baumgartner (Lindsey), Sara Walcott (Tom), Sarah Swiss (Tim), Eric Baumgartner (Jessie), Kelly Savukynas (Gytis), Lisa Baumgartner, Megan O'Donovan (Dan), Kari Shaffer (Shawn), Katy Maglio (Tom), Kevin Hickey (Tilo), Michael Hickey, Kevin Schaffer (Meredith), Jen Jones (Brayton), Shellie Schaffer (Jonathan Hutchison), Becky McFarland (Kris), Garrett Cook, Jake Baumgartner, Max Baumgartner, Kurt Hansen (Abby), Amie Schmitt (Mike), Jennifer Nix, Colin Baumgartner (Mary Kate), Sloane Baumgartner, Cale Baumgartner, Katie Bagg (Ryan) and Jeff Brown. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Monastery Chapel (1910 Maple Ave, Lisle, IL 60532).
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial donations to be made for the Grotto at Sacred Heart Monastery, 1910 Maple Avenue, Lisle, IL 60532.
