He is survived by: his children, Terrence Newkirk (Lynn), James Newkirk (Beth), Julie Chivari (Tom) and Edward Newkirk (Carrie); his grandchildren, Robert Newkirk (Jillian), Daniel Newkirk (Lauren), Genevieve Madden (Benjamin), Grant, John "Jack" Chivari, Matthew Chivari (Ashley), Lauren Scotti (Christopher), Brady and Maria Newkirk; and his child Terry.
