He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, John Petersen and Shana Williams (Richard); the mother of his children Judy Petersen; his stepchildren, Derek Kunze (Ashley), Stefanie Clark (Adam) and Dustin Kunze (Autumn); his grandchildren, Ava and Ryan; his stepgrandchildren, Avery, Madden, Macaela, Easton, Cannon, Brylee and Brooks; his sisters, Ruth Hursh (Ron) and Georgia Petersen; and his nieces, Renee Carlson (Jay), Bobbi Husemann (John) and Rachel Ward (Mike).
