It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne M. Peterson of Naperville, Illinois, born in Morris, Illinois, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hexdall and Pearl Hexdall (Thorsen); her husband Lynn Peterson of Newark; her brother Kenneth; and her parents-in-law, Lewell and Sarah Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle Gillen (Steven) of Lisle and Gary Peterson (Deborah) of Newark; her grandchildren, Amanda McCleary (Steven) of Channahon, Tecya Kitzman (Scott) of Hockley and Ryan Gillen of Lisle; her great grandchildren, Garrett, Ryland and Joshua McCleary; and her sister Cheryl Morse of Raleigh, N. C. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the West Lisbon Church Cemetery Fund.
