She was predeceased by : her parents, John K. Boester and Gladys Boester (Heinrichsmeyer); her brother John E. Boester; and her sister-in-law Donna Boester. She is survived by : her husband William Jack (Bill); her children, Anne Swanson (Warren) of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Carrie Jack (Garey Hoffman) of Edwardsville, Illinois and Daniel Jack (Amanda) of Green Ridge, Missouri.; her brother Bob Boester (Beth) of Nashville, Illinois; her sister-in-law Samary Jack of Ballwin; and her grandchildren, Reid, Benjamin, Calvin Swanson of Glenwood Springs, Elliott, Dexter Hoffman of Edwardsville and Britten Mergen of Green Ridge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carol's memory to the Nashville Public Library and will be accepted through the Styninger Funeral Home at 224 South Washington Street in Nashville, Illinois, which is in charge of arrangements.
