Spenner Sr. of Nashville, Illinois, born in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David W. Spenner and Olga Fern Spenner (Walker); his grandson Wesley; his siblings, David Spenner, Betty Lippert (Vernon) and Peggy Reinkensmeier; and his brother-in-law Fred Lueking.

He is survived by: his son Charles David Spenner, Jr.; his grandson Charlie; his close friend Anita Crane; his siblings, William Spenner (Donna) of Nashville, IL, Barbara Lueking of Hoffman, IL and Joyce Frieman (Dennis) of Nashville, IL; his sister-in-law Nadine Spenner; Felicia Maze and Renee Grimes. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church of Hoyleton and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
