It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Jean Eversgerd of Nashville, Illinois, born in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Cook and Jesse Altom Cook; and her siblings, David, Steven, Roy, John Cook, Pearl Neuhaus, Helen Klingenberg, Mary Kyles and Zelda Cook.

She is survived by : her spouse Firmin "Gus" Eversgerd; her daughters, Patricia Roberts (Jeff) of Pinckneyville, Elizabeth Glazier of Nashville and Mary Zimmer (Richard) of Chester; her grandchildren, Connie Roberts (Jared), Rusty Roberts (Kate), Jessie Farris (Philip), Rie Dickerson (Tommy) and James Glazier; her great grandchildren, Bryan, Angel, Matt, Bella, Lexie Forth, Coy, Maycie, Jaymie Dickerson, Katherine, Delilah Farris, Kaylie, Saylor, Abigail Glazier and Niall Roberts; her brother Harry Joe Cook (Bea) of Huntington, AR; and her nieces, Kimberly Miller and Laura Spenner.
