He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arnold Zimmerman and Bonnie Zimmerman (Knight); his wife Sharon Zimmerman of Nashville, IL; his children, Mark Zimmerman (Susan), Michael Zimmerman (Michelle Saylor) and Amber Detering (Brett); his stepsons, Tim May (Erica) and Jeremy May (Beth); his grandchildren, Sydney Zimmerman (Conner Sturgeon), McKenna Zimmerman (Justin Posey), Maxwell Zimmerman (Madi Harvey), Savannah Zimmerman, Noelle Shirley (Justin), Zach Zimmerman, Ashley Detering, Andrew Detering and Austin Detering; his stepgrandchildren, Chris May, Ryan May, Lukas May and Finn May; and his great grandchild Jace Shirley. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Washington County Animal Shelter and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
