With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary F. McClay of Nashville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas S. Dahncke and Margaret Dahncke; her siblings, Maurice Dahncke (Marietta) and Alice Kniker (Nathan); and her great grandchild Harper Mueller.
She is survived by: her husband James L. "Larry" McClay of Oakdale; her sons, Michael McClay (Dawn) of Hendersonville, TN, Steve McClay (Denise) of Oakdale and Brad McClay of Nashville; her grandchildren, Nicholas McClay (Maud), Meredith Podoll (Andrew), Mitchell McClay (Aubrey), Colby McClay (Erica), Kelsey Mueller (Kyle) and Callie Schorfheide (Austin); her great grandchildren, Margaux, Easton, Adalynn, Pierson, Wells, Jedd, Ada, Halle, Rory and Beau; and her siblings, Tom Dahncke (Kathy) of Nashville, Judy Doehring (Tony) of Nashville and Allan Dahncke (Rhonda) of Nashville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the United Presbyterian Church of Oakdale on Saturday from 1 P.M. until 3 P.M. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Oakdale United Presbyterian Church Wednesday Meal program or the St. Jude's Hospital and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
