She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Ruff and Shirley Ruff (Jones); and her son Paul Dean "P. J." Taylor, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Chatanya "Tanya" Everett (Josh) of Tamaroa and Heath Alan Taylor (Jordan Heatherly) of Nashville, IL; her grandchildren, Sydney Geralds (Patrick), Dalton George (Heath Blacklock), Zavier Eaton, Scarlett Taylor, Cecilia Taylor and Lainey Taylor; and her siblings, Steve Ruff (Kim) of Du Quoin, Matt Ruff (Agnes) of Du Quoin, Johnny Ruff (Debbie) of Du Quoin, Lois Peppers (Troy) of Carterville, Rose Mary Sisney of Du Quoin and Kenny Ruff (Sharon) of Benton. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Searby Funeral Home (130 S Washington St, Du Quoin, IL 62832).
Friends may make memorials to American Cancer Research or Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
