He is survived by : his mother Verneatha Kessler (Buerster); his wife Carol Smithenry; his children, Kim Straton (Bill) of Virginia, Kent (Debbie) of Hoyleton, Matt of Hoyleton, Tom (Lindsey) of McLeansboro, Nick (Jen) of Waterloo and Greg (Mandy) of Hoyleton; his grandchildren, Miranda Lloyd (Barrett), Andy Gill, Tyler Varel, John Varel, Hailey, Katie, Abby, Madesyn, Kaylee, Ethan, Eli, Evan, Emmit, Claire, Grace, Luke, Morgan, Megan, Kyle, Mason and Maybrie Lloyd; and his siblings, Roxanne Ginder, Linda Wright, Cindy Keeffe (Alan), Nancy VanBlaricum, Dick Kessler (Shirley) and Sam Kessler (Ruth). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
