He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Lee and Phyllis Jeane Hockett (Pierson); his wife Deborah Gaeschel; his siblings, Kelly Hockett (Andrew Hockett) and Donna Hair; and his brother-in-law Jerry Planitz.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Hockett, Jr. (Deborah) of Mt. Vernon, IL and Valerie Lamczyk (Micheal) of Ashley, IL; his grandchildren, Shawn Hockett, Christopher Rybacki, KaeLynn Lamczyk (Drew Dalman), Kane Lamczyk (Hannah) and Kyle Lamczyk (Brittnie); his great grandchildren, Brayden, Scarlett, Charlotte, Olivia and Carter; his siblings, David Hockett (Janet) of Litchfield, IL, Jack Hockett of Tacoma, WA, Jody Dietrich (Mike Churchill) of Fairview Heights, IL and Jeane Bland (Bill) of Jerseyville, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Rhonda Planitz of Collinsville, IL and Bill Hair. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relations and friends.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the ALS Association and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
