With sadness, we share the passing of Wanda Lee Goewey of Nebo, Illinois. Wanda, born on May 11, 1943, passed away on August 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Minear and Leta Gresham Minear; her husband Robert "Bob" Goewey; her sons, Charles Goewey and Junior Goewey; and her grandson Alex Crowder.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Goewey (Lois) of Louisiana, MO, Ron Goewey of Nebo, Kathy Wilson (Danny) of Pleasant Hill, Kelly Fletcher of Festus, MO, Penny Rowley (Earl) of Nebo and Brenda Conkright of Pittsfield; her sisters, Mary McAfee, Barbara Neff and Claudia Cox; her sister-in-law Joyce Howland; Amanda Goewey of Nebo. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Spring Creek Fire Department.
