She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schwerdt and Dorothy Schwerdt (Ludwig); her husband Harold Ballinger; her son Michael Ballinger; and her siblings, Dorothy, Marilyn, Eilleen, Emma, Bonnie, Rita, Henry, George, Lawrence and Mike.
She is survived by: her children, Cyndi Ambrosch (Rick), Deborah Kaufman (Steve), David Ballinger (Anna) and Mary Lee (Alan); her daughter-in-law Diana Ballinger; and her grandchildren, William Rahn (Kayleigh), Alissa Wilder (Austin), Sarah Ambrosch, Amber Willenborg (Drew), Brianne Kaufman, Gunner Ballinger and Derrick Ballinger. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (650 Walnut Ave, Neoga, IL 62447). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Mary of the Assumption Church (690 Walnut Ave, Neoga, IL 62447).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the St Michael School of Sigel.
