He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter May and Florence May (Ballinger); and his brothers, Willis May (Clara), Virgil May (Charlotte) and Per.
He is survived by: his wife Grace (Mueller); his son Rick May (Elvina) of Neoga, Illinois; his granddaughter Heather Lidster (Robert); and his pet Rufus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
