He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schwindt and Rose Schwindt (Viverito); and his sister Susan Raucci. He is survived by: his wife Sharna Schwindt of Neoga, Illinois; his children, Kristi Fritts (Brian) of Mattoon, Illinois and Scott Schwindt (Olivia) of Springfield, Illinois; his siblings, Fred Schwindt (Fatima) of Wildwood, Illinois and Diana Nicke (Jim) of Sebring, Florida; and his grandchildren, Paige, Tristan and Ellis Schwindt.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church of Neoga (190 E 6th St, Neoga, IL 62447). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (190 E 6th St, Neoga, IL 62447).
Memorials are suggested to the Robert Schwindt Memorial Fund for scholarships to students pursuing a career in education.
