In the vast expanse of eternity, Howard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Howard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Standel and Ellen Dorothy Milnes (Girven); his son Todd Milnes; and his sister-in-law Carole Milnes. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Milnes (Gypsie Bowyer), Mitch Milnes (Sandy) and Tami Pyle (Brian Habel); and his brother Robert Milnes. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bunker Hill Church (322 School St, Buda, IL 61314). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
