He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Breithaupt and Viola Breithaupt (Huch); his brother-in-law Mike Laflen; and his grandson Connor Breithaupt. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Mavers; his sons, Eric Breithaupt (Debra) of Fort Mill, SC and Jason Breithaupt (Lisa); his sister Karen Laflen of Belleville, IL; and his grandchildren, Blake, Savanah, Autumn, Emma, Benjamin and Jackson. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Agatha Catholic Church, St. Louis Children's Hospital Foundation to support Dr. Melissa Mavers research in the Department of Pediatrics and Washington University Pediatrics.
