She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Reuss and Elsie Reuss (Ficker); and her brother Raymond Reuss, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband James J. "Chomp" Jansen; her sons, Derrick Jansen (Amy) of O'Fallon, IL, Aaron Jansen (Amanda) of Mascoutah, IL and Michael Jansen of Edwardsville, IL; her sisters, Ruth Hager (Russell) of New Athens and Angie Rutter (John) of New Athens; and her grandchildren, Alexavier Jansen, Damian Jansen, Zachary Jansen, Sofia Jansen and Archer Jansen.
Memorials may be made in Janet's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the National MS Society.
