We are sad to announce that, on April 18, 2026, at the age of 67, Lynn Gipson of New Athens, Illinois, born in Kansas City, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lynn Gipson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Gipson and Dorothy Gipson (Weide); his brother-in-law Larry Gieringer; and his nephews, D. Jay and Eddie.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Gipson (Williams); his siblings, Gerald "Jerry" Gipson (Margaret) and Lorraine Gieringer; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Smith (Lewis), Gary Williams (Susan) and Greg Williams (Jeni).
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to ATA will be utilized for a "For Those We Lost Memorial" displayed annually at the Grand or to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, designated for the Choir.
