We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2025, at the age of 100, Robert L. Mueller of New Athens, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Mueller and Clara Mueller (Schulz); his former wife Bernice Mueller (Feurer); and his siblings, Roberta and Donald Mueller (Phyllis).
He is survived by: his children, Marlene Mueller (Terry Florek) of Belleville, IL, Kathy Eckart (Ralph) of New Athens, IL, Donna Haudrich (Darwin) of Hackett, AR, Elaine Rader (James) of Waterloo, IL, Eleanor Sue Hepp (David) of New Athens, IL and Neil Parker (Laura) of New Athens, IL; and his grandchildren, Justin Eckart (Tisha), Bethany Zeveski (Tom), Dawn Drackett, David Haudrich, Dana Browning (Greg), Darin Haudrich (Christina), Darla Schatz (Ryan), Kelly Rowold (Jeff), Jim Rader (Chris), Jared Rader (Naomi), Keri Feldman (Troy), Dionne Harriss (Scott), Clayton Hepp (Ali), Aaron Parker (Cassie) and Zachary Parker (Janel). He is also survived by 31 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John United Church of Christ (301 S Market St, New Athens, IL 62264). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ in New Athens, IL.
