With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Mueller of New Athens, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Mueller; and his father Edgar (Josephine). He is survived by: his sons, Brian Mueller (Leigh) and Bruce Mueller (Tina); his grandchildren, Megan Gilbert (Sam), Emma Mueller, Kendyl Mueller and Jenna Mueller; and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Alec and Alexa Gilbert.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ (7 N Belleville St, Freeburg, IL 62243).
Memorials may be made to the Freeburg Food and Clothing Bank.
