She was predeceased by: her father Henry; her husband Frank M. Weissenborn; and her sister Jane Trzcinski. She is survived by: her children, Glenn Weissenborn of New Baden, Michelle Walters Kuhl (Greg) of Nashville, Frank Weissenborn (Donna) of New Baden, Veronica Walters Hund (Al) of New Baden and Randal Weissenborn (Denee) of Pinckneyville; her grandchildren, Katie Newman (Travis), John Hund, Drew Kuhl, Valerie Hund, Lacey Weissenborn, Jill Kuhl and Frank Weissenborn; her great grandchild Ryker Newman; her in-laws, June and Tim Kenny; and her niece Janet Freund (Mike).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nordike Funeral Home (15 E Hanover St, New Baden, IL 62265). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials made in memory of Barbara may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral home.
