He was predeceased by: his father Harry F.; his girlfriend Dorothy L. "Dottie" Salustro; and his siblings, Paul Billhartz, Mary Haas, Margaret "Tookie" Reinhardt and Agnes "Nellie" Buechler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Wallace of Columbia, Anita Lang (John) of Mascoutah, Carla Novak (Richard) of Highland and Johnna Lombardo of Mascoutah; his grandchildren, Shelley Yon, John Wallace, Miranda Lang, Charlotte Lang, Jessica Meurer (David) and Craig Norrenberns (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Caedance, Quinn Wallace, Nolan, Morgan, Weston, Auburn Meurer, Wade, Dean, Tessa and Bella Norrenberns; his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Haas, Catherine "Kitty" Lanter, Veronica "Patsy" Wright, Mary Ann Krohne and Vincent Billhartz; and his close friend Roger Gildig. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
