James E. Baehr Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Baehr of New Baden, Illinois, born in Breese, Illinois, who passed away on October 27, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Baehr and Viola Baehr (Zimmermann); his mother-in-law Margaret Dall; his siblings-in-law, Norma Masterson, Judy Singler, Mary Loepker, Jessie Mills and Ronnie Singler; and his aunts and uncles, Leona Davis, Doris Rendall, Elmer Zimmermann and Leroy Baehr.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Lampe (Dave) of Bartelso and Steve Baehr (Michelle) of Breese; his granddaughter Courtney Herzing; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Lampe, Matt Lampe, Hannah Peek and Chloe Peek; his great grandchildren, Gracyn, Nora, Cece Eversgerd, Brylee and Bria Lampe; his brother Gary Baehr (Judy); his close friend Patsy Hodges; and his former wife Joann Baehr (Don Mueller). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers and other gifts, memorials are suggested to the Shriners Children's Hospital in St. Louis and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 East Hanover Street, New Baden, IL 62265.
