He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Fred; his children, Nick Korte (Carmalee) of New Baden and Amanda Tresler (Eli) of Trenton; his grandchildren, Megan Riechmann (Reed), Joshua Korte (Alhana Hargraves), Trent Korte, Seth Tresler, Bria Tresler and Cora Tresler; his great grandchild Boyer Riechmann; and his siblings, Darlene Kerchner (Steve), Gary Korte (Pat), Randy Korte, Tom Korte, Glen Korte, Marilyn Korte and Fred Korte.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made in memory of Jim may be made to the Zion United Church of Christ Building Fund or the American Cancer Society - World Wide Technology Hope Lodge in St. Louis, MO. and will be received at the funeral home.
