John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Smith and Violet M. Swager. He is survived by: his extended family, Sandy Maue (Ken) and Jennifer Freeman (Kane); and his close friend Howard Smith (Gwen).
