It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Shickles Johns of New Baden, Illinois, born in Mauckport, Indiana, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parent Gard Oliver (Ada Mae); her siblings, Raymond Knowles, Harold Knowles, William Knowles, Larry W. Shickles, Jackie Shickles, Thelma Abate, Jean Driscoll and Louise Russell; and her daughter-in-law Linda Joyner Johns.

She is survived by : her children, Jill Weaver (Robert) of Albers, IL and Jeffrey Johns of Ozark, MO; her grandchildren, Lauren Hoehne (Dan) of Edwardsville, IL, Madyson Locke of Albers, IL, Lyndsey Rodabaugh (Ben) of Stillwater, OK and Daniel Johns of Ann Arbor, MI; and her siblings, Norma Gusler of Jeffersonville, IN, Pam Knear (Wayne) of Corydon, IN and Darrell Shickles of Georgetown, IN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
