He is survived by: his close friend Peggy Ulmer; his daughters, Jennifer Phillips (James) of Belleville and Amanda Griese (Mark) of O'Fallon, MO; his grandchildren, Alexis Raney (Corey), Jimmy Phillips, III, Addison Bruni, Braxton Uhring and Arlyn Uhring; his daughter-in-law Alicia Uhring of Aviston, IL; and his sister Velma Brokering of New Baden, IL..
