With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharol Guerin of New Baden, Illinois, born in Mascoutah, Illinois, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Clarence; her husband Edmund R. "Ed" Guerin, Jr.; her sister Ellen Pries; her son-in-law Ron Singler; her grandson-in-law Dale Robke; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Guerin and Richard Pries.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Derek Rice (Gaby) of Chicago, Brian Rice (Amber) of Colorado Springs, CO, Mandy Kohlbrecher (Jeff) of Trenton, Jenna Trotta (Gerrit) of New Baden, Katy Singler (Kerry) of Germantown, Nick Wehrle (Ashley) of St. Louis, MO, Meghan Tomlinson (Connor) of Charlotte, NC, Shelly Robke of Germantown, Sheila Dierkes (Brad) of Carlyle and Shirley Mugele (Tim) of New Baden. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion United Church of Christ (400 W Hanover St, New Baden, IL 62265). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Zion UCC and will be received at the church or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
