He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Vortman and Nina Louise Vortman (Krusa); his wife Linda Estabrook; and his brother Ted A. Vortman. He is survived by: his daughters, Tonia Raichle (Marcus) of St. Louis, MO and Melinda Walter (Greg) of Oskaloosa, IA; his grandchildren, Keaton Coleman, Claire, Bridget Raichle, Paige Kindley (Tyler), Nicholas, Ryan, Emily and Ella Walter; and his brother Alan "Butch" Vortman (Lizabeth) of Kewanee.
